We're excited to be testing our new timing system during tonight's Time Trials.

If you've signed up to be a timer, please take a few minutes to watch the training video below before arriving at the pool. We'll do a quick review before we begin, but watching the video ahead of time will help everything run smoothly.

This new system will make our meets more efficient and more accurate. Race starts are triggered automatically, times are recorded electronically (no more writing times on wet paper slips), we can reduce staffing from three timers to two per lane, eliminate the need for runners, simplify scorekeeping, and provide real-time results through the SwimTopia app for swimmers and families!

Tonight is our first test, so we appreciate your patience and help as we work through any bumps and get everyone comfortable with the system before the season gets underway.

We will have 2 timers per lane.  And if all goes well, the Timing Volunteers will press the button on the watch one time...to record the finish of each event.
